Throughout KS2 and KS3 we follow the National Curriculum with differentiated lessons planned astutely to meet the individual’s specific needs. Each student’s prior progress is analysed and assessed so that the data can be used to inform the next steps in the learning programme.
All students are withdrawn from Modern Foreign Languages and the time is spent on SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning), social skills programmes and other interventions relevant to the individual’s needs.
KS2 and KS3 students also study Wider Key Skills culminating in the John Muir award and a range of AQA unit awards.
